Shooting over Pointers can be arranged on nearby farms. Small bags, mainly Pheasants. Plenty of walking. Alternatively, try a very relaxed Clay shoot Subject to Insurance.Stroll to the Suffolk villages of Botesdale and Rickinghall, which are 1.5 miles away, where you can enjoy good food and ales at local Inns. If you prefer, you are welcome to bring back a Chinese take away or fish and chips, to eat in the dining room.If you are on business or pleasure, we are ideally situated for East Anglia.The Norfolk town of Diss has good rail links to Norwich and Ipswich ( 22 mins) and London Liverpool St ( 90 mins). Diss has a notable Mere, complete with ducks, a very small but interesting museum. The town was visited by Sir John Betjeman and is where he wrote his poem for Mary Wilson. The historic Suffolk town of Bury St Edmunds is 16 miles away. Visit the famous Abby and gardens, shop in the friendly picturesque town, take a tour around the Green King Brewery ( with samples of course ) Cap the day off with a show at the Theatre Royal and a meal at one of the many restaurants.If you are on business or pleasure, we are ideally situated for East Anglia. Directions

West - Road: Take the A143 from Bury St.Edmunds and follow it to Botesdale. Stay on the A143 passing the sign to Botesdale on the left and take the next right signposted B1113 to Stowmarket. After 50 yards turn left Signposted Church Lane and follow the winding road till you come to a turning on hte left. Grove Flock Bed and Breakfast is situated at the junction. If coming from the DissYarmouth direction on the A143, about 2 miles after the village of Wortham, Botesdale is signposted off to the right, IGNORE this and continue on A143 for 1mile. On the left is a small road named Mill Road South, follow this road for 1.5 miles and we are on the left.
